Campaign for Biker/Pedestrian Safety!

Groups with goals similar to those of our grant opportunity, “Pedals and Pedestrians,” are hard at work in Pittsburgh!  The Riverlife organization has raised $4,454 through Indiegogo as the final step of their $3 million plan to build a biker-pedestrian ramp in downtown Pittsburgh.  What’s amazing: the fundraising campaign was expected to take 60 days, but the full goal was met in less than 24 hours!  We’re so happy that the Pittsburgh community is so willing to support alternative transportation.

To read more details and support the ongoing Indiegogo campaign, click here.  Additional funds will be used to create signage essential to directing commuters to the ramp.
